Sarah and Ian went into Perth to document the River Tay bursting its banks today.
The river was flowing extremely fast and there were a multitude of debris floating past, including hay bails and entire trees!
The flood gates doing their job by the rail bridge
The golf course was underwater and we saw sheds from the allotments on their side
The path to the golf course completely submerged
The Queen’s Bridge sitting very low in the water
The walk down by the Tay (Left Bank) was underwater as well
I’ve taken many shots from down here – none where my feet got wet!
Stairway to nowhere!
The River Tay at its highest for a long time #stormdesmond
Maybe want to move that car…
