Finlarig Castle pictures featured in Findagrave.com

Some time ago, Sarah and I visited Finlarig Castle in Killin. There are clear signs marking it as dangerous (blah, blah) but I had read about it online and just had to visit. It is a magical place but with very little light I chose to shoot in HDR in an attempt to go home with some kind of useful shot.

I received some messages on Flickr today asking for permission for the images to be displayed on a Grave-fact website. Always nice to have your work appreciated enough to be featured somewhere!

The grave in question is of Sir Duncan Campbell who “was the eldest son of “Grey Colin” Campbell, whom he succeeded in 1583. He was knighted c. 1590 on the occasion of the King’s marriage. He had a long and successful career as the 7th Laird of Glenorchy.”

The website is www.findagrave.com and this image can be seen with full information HERE .
