Perth’s 800 celebrations continue in November with an opportunity for some fantastic night shots courtesy of the Light Night team. The Perth Concert Hall, St John’s Shopping Centre, St John’s Kirk, Museum, AK Bell Library and even the River Tay itself will be awash with lights from the 26th to the 28th of November. There are a range of events and offers taking place over the three day festival, including an exhibition called Old Perth Living Photographs which will be on display at the Museum on the 26th between 17.30 and 20.00.
Also worth a diary entry is the second firework display of November, taking place on the River Tay on the 26th between 21.00 and 21.25. No exact location has been given but If you can see the Tay and your feet are dry, I think you will be fine! The full range of events for the three days can be found over at the Perth 800 website so hae a deek and see what tickles your photographic fancy. PK will definitely be hitting the streets armed with our Nikons, tripods (and sore shoulders as a result) so here’s hoping for some clear, dry weather!
