Technique – Long exposures

Both Sarah and I use long exposure in our photography to tranform photographs from a normal scene into something a bit more special. Waterfalls and rivers are the most obvious use of this technique but I was scouring the interweb earlier today and discovered this guide by Dan Heller where he goes over all the different uses for leaving that shutter open for longer than normal. -Long Exposure Guide- Dan does a bit of everything and he does it well. Everything from car lights at night to mist rolling over mountains is here – check it out!
